HOW IT WORKS

Their main feature is the high capacity to absorb ethylene emitted by foods as they begin their ripening process, transforming it into CO2, which destroys bacteria, and H2O, which prevents dehydration.

The patented KeepCool filters are packaged in a liquid-impermeable and air-permeable material. It is highly resistant and difficult to break, making it a material of high safety and at the same time, high filtration efficiency. Our filters are individually vacuum-sealed for perfect preservation.

ETHYLENE ABSORPTION

The main component of our filters is potassium permanganate which produces an oxidation reaction that splits ethylene molecules into water and CO2.

ODOR AND VOC REMOVAL

Our filters contain activated carbon which absorbs volatile organic compounds (VOCs), thus eliminating any odor in the fruit and vegetable.

* The amounts of CO2 and water released during the oxidation reaction are insignificant and do not influence the internal atmosphere.

BACTERICIDAL ACTION

All Keepcool filters contain essential oils that have a bactericidal action sterilizing spores, eliminating viruses, bacteria, and fungi.

NEITHER STAINS NOR CONTAMINATES

Our filters are packaged in a smart material that is impermeable to liquids and permeable to air, preventing contamination and staining of the product.
